Raw Materials Used: Buntal Fiber ~ All the bags uses the buntal fiber that was extracted from the Buri(Corypha elata) Palm Tree. Buri is found throughout the Philippines, the most stately and largest palm that can reach over 120 feet in height and a diameter of 5 feet. The leaves are fan-shaped, large, rounded in outline, up to 3 meters in length, the flower are numerous, greenish-white, and 5 to 6 mm in diameter, fruits are globose, fleshly, 2 to 2.5 cm in diameter, and the seeds are hard, and about 1.5 cm in diameter. Acacia Wooden Handle~ Filipina, Isabelle, Isabella, Daphne and Jessica Has the Acacia (Acacia Auriculaeform) wooden Handle. It is taken from a tree with the same name. It is known for its beautiful grain and is also used manufacture furniture and other wooden handicrafts like wooden spoons and wooden bowl. Genuine Bovine Leather ~ Only genuine bovine leather is used in our bags. This is to ensure hight quality and duarability of the bags especially the Handles. The leathers are from cow hide the same material that is being used to manufacture high quality shoes in the Shoe Capital of the Philippines, Marikina City. Shells~ There are two types of shells that are incorporated in to the designs, black lip shells(the brownish-black shell) and mother of pearl shells(yellowish).
